Bridgetown, Barbados, Monday, Jan. 9th

Well, it appears that some people are really looking at this thing so I guess I should pay attention to it!

Life on this ship is so gruelling that it seems that I don't have time to keep it up to date. The computer connects OK, but the speed is slow.

We are in Barbados today after three days at sea, calm seas. Into a routine, sort of. Early coffee and or swim. Doug has attended three Tai Chi lessons, yes! I have won the award for the most uncoordinated passenger on the ship, but am not disheartened. I bought a book on Tai Chi ashore and a DVD comes with it. I will study all night and surprise them tomorrow!

Great lecturer on board, history of the areas we are in. Fellette has taken up serious swimming. Also crafts, bible study and aerobics. I rarely see her.

Today we walked into town, about a mile. Did a walkabout and some shopping for essentials. We visited the local fresh fish market. For lunch we had Flying Fish Sandwich. Delicious, washed down by a local beer. Back on the ship an hour prior to sailing for Devils Island. Two days hence.

The steel band sailaway music beckons, must go, love to all of you.

I check this blog 3 or 4 times a day and I am glad to see you are keeping it up.
Sorry I missed your call today.
