January 3rd, around Atlanta

January 2nd. Work day for Rob. Some of us slept in a bit seeing the slave-driver was long gone in the early am. A fix-it morning, first job was to put new legs on a play table for the youngest. Next was the long sought after rabbit house for Patches, a five pound male brown and white rabbit. Easy afternoon, until Dad comes home. After dinner some of us played Rummoli, Doug was the big winner again in spite of his negativity of card games. It shows that there is no skill required. Later we watched The Phantom of The Opera. The last time I saw that was with my Dad and sister about 1943? I was afraid of the dark for years after that. The organ music still sends chills up my spine. Being with my nephew and his family is good fun, getting to renew family ties with older members and establishing them with younger people is the foundation of our existence.

Well folks, if anybody is reading this, you must be thinking what is the big deal on a Blog? I agree, I must confess that reading about table legs and a rabbit is pretty darn dull. In a few days, Thursday to be exact, we may begin something a little out of the ordinary. In the meantime these last few days have allowed me to gain experience in how to do this whole Blog thing. Thanks for looking in and good luck and God be with you all as we begin a New Year.

I check it at least 3 times a day and I enjoy reading about our Family activities.
